Cole is now with Jesus...as of 11:28 this morning.
This sweet little boy, so beautiful, only 3, a big brother, a son, a grandson, and I don't even know him, his name is Cole and he's been given hours to live here on earth with him mommy and daddy. I have been praying for him for quite some time now...He's really sick. Please pray for his family, his dad Aaron, his mom Moireen, and his little sis, Chaneille. And, please, if you feel led, go to his site and encourage his family with the simple statement of "I'm praying" or "I'm sorry" or "You guys are in my prayers."
People come to my site for random reasons. If you are here to learn how to grieve and mourn with others, you can do this simple thing. Did you know in some countries, and in Biblical times, communities would mourn with families whether they knew the deceased or not? And it wasn't just for a few days...It was for a month or so.
Please, even when we have the hope of Heaven, mourning isn't as difficult knowing you aren't alone on the journey...please mourn with this family. And by the way, you probably should put a bowl on top of your computer to collect your tears. I hear moisture and electronics don't mix!
Adrienne,
ReplyDeleteI'm getting a message that says I'm not authorized to access 'view home' when I click your links. Could you try another time? I would like to be able to comment.
Thanks,
Renee
Should be fixed now! Thank you, thank you, Renee!
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness Adrienne, you weren't lying about needing that bowl. The tears are still streaming down my face for this family and their beautiful boy. I get SO angry at the suffering of these children. I know that I need to turn to God but sometimes it is HARD when I see these things happening. I don't know how you remain so strongly faithful. You are an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI'm getting the message that Southern Gal got this morning - "NOT AUTHORIZED . . . . . ."
ReplyDeleteChris K
Me, too. Unauthorized. Praying, though!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet family.
ReplyDeleteI was in earlier, and they were getting hundreds of hits per hour, so probably just keep trying to get in.

ReplyDeleteHope that helps.
Rest in Peace Cole
ReplyDeleteAdrienne,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with us about Cole. I needed the bowl too. Such a heart wrenching story of his and his parent's suffering. Their love for the Lord is so strong through it all. Makes me need to hold my three blessing closer. I had to go in while my 4 year old was napping to give him a little kiss while in the middle of reading Cole's story.
Going there now Ade, thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteI'm praying too for this dear family.
ReplyDeleteHey Ade,
ReplyDeleteI will write his sweet name this evening at sunset. Maybe you can email them the link. I think it would be more special coming from you, rather than me. Anyway maybe you can let me know what you think.
I will let you know as soon as I have completed it. Thank you for letting me know. I am so sorry for this dear family.
We hope Em is all better after being sick. I told Scarlett that Emily hasn't been well too. It helps her to know that she isn't the only kid in the world who throws up :)
Thank you so much for leading others to Cole's site. I live in the same small town that the Ruotsala's do ... and the whole town has rallied around this family. Cole is now an angel .. but his legacy will live on ... he has touched so many ... and taught others so much. Darlene
ReplyDeleteYour blog has touched my heart in so many ways. Maybe first it was the shared name of our lost sons... but more it has been your raw love for our God and your unending faith and love of family. Thank you for sharing heart so openly and your family will be in our prayers!
ReplyDeleteCole's family is also in our prayers. I bawled half the night after reading through their story...
