Graves Family Photo
Here we all are enjoying a Sunday afternoon together. Today, Monday, Jason got to hold Noah for quite some time. When he and the nurse were putting him back in bed, his J-tube got pulled out accidently. Tomorrow Noah will get another one put in, but this time, since more healing has occurred at the site, they'll use the Mickey Button port for the J-tube. Noah's been really alert today, looking around and sucking his pacifier.

I'm going to go spoon him for a while. He's so cute I can't even resist! He's gotten another following of primary nurses up here on the 3rd floor. They have to duke it out every time they overlap. I think 6 have signed up! What a guy! We're waiting on a lot of lab results, so will keep you all posted. We are praying for you all and are so grateful for the opportunity to do so. There is so much to pray for that now I know where the Scripture comes from to pray continually, 1 Thessalonians 5:17! Posted by Picasa

  3. Awesome, a family picture! Thanks for posting it.

I've been a hit-and-miss reader (but hopefully more hit than miss pray-er!) of your blog ever since Lynette told me about you a month ago. Usually I have to reach for a Kleenex before I finally just stop reading, though... your faith, your struggle, your sweet attitude all overwhelm me. It's so hard for me to see children suffer...but I'm not quite as bad as some of Lynette's other acquaintances. :-)

You guys are at the main campus of Children's, correct? I was hoping maybe Westminster, but I doubt it. One of these days I'm hoping to drop in to see ya...hope that's OK.

  8. I was so thrilled to see you actually HOLDING Noah! I can't imagine how difficult it has been not to be snuggling with him all the time. He's just so darn cute. May your week be filled with unexpected blessings! We continue to spread the word and pray, pray, pray for sweet Noah and you all. With love, Julia for the Glanzers in South Dakota

    Hello Graves family,
I just wanted to say thankyou for the wonderful card. Though I have never actually met Noah, I have seen his name come through the lab quite often. It is really nice to put a face with a name. I will keep on doing the best that I can to help in any way possible for your little Noah. Take care.

  12. Hello, beautiful people.

    Love the new photo.

By the way, before I forget, Bono is going to be on Oprah on Friday. Thought you might want to catch that.

In the meantime, remember that asserting an opinion and/or fighting for what you feel is RIGHT is a good thing. I believe without a doubt that your spirit is in line with God's spirit and therefore your inclinations are going to be in line with His will. So, if you're feeling driven to say or act upon a gut instinct, GO WITH IT, even if it might cause a few ruffled feathers. Yes - this is "human" but that's what we are and that's not ALL bad!!!!

"Unfortunately," we only have one example in the Bible where Jesus goes off - at the temple when the greedy dudes turned it into a flea market (this is from the Lynette Break It Down Homie Style version - ha!). I have a feeling, however, that whenever he sensed that Satan had taken over a situation he went off a lot more than we know about.

Anyway, I have confidence that you are on the right track. May you receive affirmation over the next few days to KNOW that you are.

    Loving you,
    Lynette
