I want to learn, live, and love with intention, finding beauty and thankfulness in each day. Intention with God, family, myself, and everyone else on this journey.
What a beauty queen! I love the shorter cut! She just has so much joy! She reminds me of OUR Emily! You even posted a picture of her a little while back (plaid skirt, black tights, etc...) that is almost identical to one I took of our Emily a few years ago! We have always said that we should have named her Zoe Joy... I think your Emily is the same!
I am sure many tell you this but I still check your blog all the time, I am going through a trial in my life right now, I know that God is holding me up through it and your courage and witness to God and the Lord is so amazing, thank you for being such a spiritual inspiration. Weeping may endure for the night but joy cometh in the morning.
I have spent hours reading your blog. I feel like I know you and your family. Noah has touched me in so many ways and my heart breaks that he is no longer on this earth with us. I am inspired by you, your strength, your honesty, and your grace. I LOVE the pics on Noah and look at them everyday. I have a new love for my children and a better understanding about God's Plan through your story. I don't know that I would have the strength and courage to lay my child before God! Thank you so much for continuing to let me experience your son and your journey. I hope that my children will understand and love God in ways that your little girl does. I also pray that my children will love each other as much as Em loves Noah. God Bless You! I am a better person because of you. Jaime in Atlanta
DARLING!!! I saw the pictures and thought you did the whole cut until I read the story :)
I am no stylist either. I bought the "cut it at home kit". After my first few cuts I bought a cape, and a squirt bottle. I tell my teenage boys all the time "I am a professional now, I have the cape and the squirt bottle". They reply "you aren't a professional, you just got better because you messed up so much". nice.
Like many people who have left comments on your page, I have read every entry and feel like I know you and your family. Your story has touched me. I have shared it with my friends and family as well. What an amazing story you have to tell. I love your heart and how God has used you to touch so many people.
Emily is just too cute...I can't wait to have kids of my own. Hopefully I can be as great a mom as you are!

Oh the haircuts, they are fun and kind of scary, too. I've been through many with my three girls. As they got older we came home many times with tears. It's so much more fun when they are little. What a fun day. Hope Daddy likes...our daddy always wanted the long hair :( I do miss those days of little girls, little earrings and big smiles.
As I sit here at work catching up on the blog site after our 3 day blizzard... I'm listening to U2's Beautiful Day thinking of little Noah and looking at beautiful Em's new hair cut! How grown up she looks!!! I'm sure daddy loved it too:) Wanted you to know that even us strangers think of him on a daily bases. I placed a small heart ornament on my computer at work, so I think of him each time the heart catches my mind.
The smile says it all. You can see the total happeniess on her face. I love the cut, it is very cute!! My husband is one of those who likes long hair, so me and my daughter have it. Maybe one of these days she will want a short do! I love it and it will be so much easier to handle. Savannah sometimes does not like to have her hair brushed, etc. It is very challenging when they have long hair! Anyway, it looks SOOOOOO cute!! Thanks for sharing and as always looking forward to your next entry!!
